Dr. Sy Kim
Dr. Kim graduated from University of California, Berkeley with degrees in both
Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. Prior to attending Dental School at Columbia
University, he worked as a system engineer at Samsung. Dr. Kim has now been practicing
dentistry for over 20 years, initially in Southern California and recently in Sacramento in order to
be closer to his family.
Doctor’s main objective is to attend to patient needs and improve their quality of life
through his dental practice. His curiosity and desire to excel have led to him to explore some
intricate areas of dentistry. Therefore, his practice scope is not only limited to typical restoration
of individual teeth, but also encompasses dental implant placement and restoration, TMJ
disorder, sleep apnea, and full mouth rehabilitations through braces and reconstructions.
